VIDEO 08/serie - A serie of Naxxramas videos filmed with guild <Sins> on server EU-Illidan.
My main goal was to show the high end PvE fights in an aesthetic way with good quality images while pushing the rythm to its maximum with an appropriate soundtrack.
I'm not adept of special effects overload, but I use them sometimes, when it comes naturally into the creation, espescially in the latest videos.
I wanted a very good image quality so I needed a high bitrate, that's why the serie is fragmented this way : approximately 1 video = 1 boss; it's also easier to manage regarding upload, download, enconding, storage, ...

All the soudtracks were played by the band "Kerion": http://www.kerion.net/ , all the tracks come from their album "The last sunset", the singer is actually the girlfriend of a guildmember : Yavanna (EU-Illidan) (so we had the autorisation of the band to use the musics).

Thanks to everyone who ever organised or participated to these raids (and anyone else who should be thanked).

(Note that this serie was left unfinished in December 2006 and completed between April and August 2007 with the "Naxxramas continued" serie.)

- Due to the poor quality of streamings, please don't judge the video quality unless you have watched good versions of the videos (such as DivX or WMV)
- In the titles, "Sins meats", "meats" is NOT a mistake but it's a play of word, related to the fact that we kill the bosses. I had already heard "Pleased to meat you" in a song in the past.)

This first part was actually the third to be done. I did not have a choice of images as complete as I wished, due between other things to the Anub'Rekhan's textures bug. But in the end, though it is not as "logical" as I wished, the result is really good at my taste.

This was the first part I started to create. I did not really know yet in which direction I was going, but it ended up fine.

This part was the first to be finished. I've used one of the most powerful soundtracks I had on it. Perfect for the beginning.

Part D - SINS MEATS THE INSTRUCTOR RAZUVIOUS

Though the fight against the Instructor Razuvious seems to be one of the less interesting encounters in Naxxramas, the video has got very neat editing and is well done, not my favorite, but one of those I would recommend.

Part E - SINS MEATS NOTH THE PLAGUEBRINGER and HEIGAN THE UNCLEAN (part 1/2)

This video shows Noth's trash mobs, Noth fight and Heigan's trash mobs. Clean editing and so on, some nice effects in the beginning, but if there was one video I should drop from the serie, it would probably this one.

Part F - SINS MEATS NOTH THE PLAGUEBRINGER and HEIGAN THE UNCLEAN (part 2/2)

Heigan was one of most difficult bosses to film, it's a fight where you can't really "do everything as you want". But this is also one of my favorite videos. The soundtrack contrasts with the soundtracks of the other videos, but it's still played by Kerion and comes from the same album. My character's dead in the video was intentional.

Part G - SINS MEATS THE ABOMINATION WING (unfinished)

90% finished. This is the best part of the serie, coming close to perfection in my opinion, but unfortunately it's not completely finished since some "disagreements" between some of the guild leaders and myself have put an end to the project (including /gquit ...).

Bonus 01 - SINS MEATS MR BIGGLESWORTH (joke)

This was a joke filmed while re-taking some images to complete the intro of Maexxna. At least, it's a boss you don't see in any other Naxxramas videos ;-) (as far as I know).

Bonus 02 - SINS MEATS NAXXRAMAS - Introduction

"Artistic" introduction to the serie. The goal was to keep some traces of the "necropoles events". I find it beautiful, that's the only point. (Some of the images were filmed back in July 2006, some editing in August, but the video was finished around the same time as Noth and Heingan (November).

Rush/Outtakes 01 - NAXXRAMAS EROTIC MODE

Psychedelic outtake from "Sins meats Naxxramas" video serie. I first found back the background images, I thought I would just encode them as they were and post them on Sins forum (for fun). But progressively I've built yet another psychedelic creation on it, which may make sense as it may not make any ;-) This remains some kind of experimental and "unfinished" draft. Note that unlike the rest of the serie, this outtake's soundtrack is not played by Kerion.
